Blitz- and Zippsolution – New biodegradable foodtainer made of cardboard and grass paper
The new packaging solutions made of recyclable cardboard or grass paper match with the modern no-plastic standards. Instead of using plastic films as before, with the Blitz and Zipp series foodtainers and lids, we offer sustainable packaging for fruits and vegetables.
From manual filling of small quantities to the fully automated packaging of large ones, Frutmac always offers the perfect solution for environmentally friendly and safe packaging made of 100% biodegradable mono-material. All Blitz- and Zipp-Series tray-lid combinations offer the possibility of a full-surface, individual design. Depending on your needs, the following three solutions are available:
Solution 1: fully automated packing with Blitz+ lids
The automatic tray packing machine Blitzmatic+, glues the new Blitz+ lid automatically to any existing cardboard or grass paper tray. The new lids are designed to guarantee both the maximum visibility of the product and to provide firm position of the products.
Due to the unique mechanism, fruits, even with different sizes, are fixed gently and without friction.

Solution 2: Zipp tray with Eco-Zipper
For smaller packaging quantities, the semi-automatic solution of the Blitz tray is ideal. The single trays are manually inserted into the Zippmatic packaging machine, then the specially designed tray is mechanically closed by an intelligent interlocking technique - our ECO-ZIPPER.
The Blitz tray is available in the same designs as the Blitz+ lid and is fully customizable. It is available in different tray sizes for 4, 6 or 8 fruits.

Solution 3: Hand tray with manual closing/lidding system
For very small packaging quantities, the easiest way to get a sustainable packaging could be reached by using the manual-closable-Blitztray. The lid integrated in the tray is closed manually. This solution can also be personalized with an individual design and is available in the same material versions. Various tray sizes for 4, 6 or 8 fruits are available.
